SLJ Week 1 Activity 7

LI: To understand the maori words and rearrange them to make sense .

Today for our 7th activity we learnt how  understand and make maori sentences by rearranging the in the correct order . One thing i enjoyed about the activity was rearranging the maori words and making sure thy made sense . Something i found interesting was getting supported by the audio to help me rearrange the words to make the correct sentence and hearing other people's opinions  about how they learnt how to make the maori sentence make sense . something i enjoyed about this task was because i am trying my best to understand most maori words and speak so i can be able to complete a Te Reo Maori task at the average i know it supposed to be done .

  1. Hi Lily,

Good job for completing your seventh Summer Learning Journey Task. I liked how you have added a well detailed blurb by including points like "what you liked" and "what you did". A well detailed blurb helps the reader understand more about the topic which also helps him ask a question. I think your blog post is amazing! Will you be making a screencastify in which you record yourself while saying the words as that is also a part of our work? I have also completed this activity and posted this on my blog as well. \

Great job! I am looking forward for your reply!

  2. Kia ora Lily,

My name is Shannon and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.

You’ve done a fantastic job moving the magnets to form a sentence! Ka pai, you’re awesome! I love going to the playground! What sorts of things do you like to do there? I always go on the swings. When I was little, I always wanted to go the whole way round, so my dad would always push me really high!

Looking back at the create section on the activity, it includes another component. Are you able to draw a picture of you and your whānau doing the activity you chose in slide five. That way I can give you some extra points!

Here is an example of a cool drawing that Kayla has done, check out slide seven to have a look.

I’ll check back in later to see how you’re getting on - I can’t wait to see your drawing!

I also notice your slideshow is running into the sidebar of your blog. Follow these easy steps to edit and update your blog post to fix this.

    Happy blogging!

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)

    2. Kia ora Lily,

The slide is so much fun. I used to always form a train with my siblings so we'd go down it really fast as a team which was fun! What do you do on the slide?

Your blog post interested me because it looked like you had done a fantastic job! You had formed coherent sentences, and included the slide set explaining the challenge so your readers could understand your post. You put a lot of effort into it and I appreciated that.

      Keep up the fantastic work,
      Shannon (SLJ)
