Rock Paper Scissors
LI:To learn how to code the micobit to play rock paper scissors and understand how the flowchart matches the code.
- When I shake the micobit, it will choose random number between 1 and 3.
- I have to make a variable called hand and set this to the random number.
- If the number is 1 - the micobit will show the symbol for paper.
- If the number is 2 - the micobit will shwo the symbol for rock.
- If the number is 3 - the micobit will shwo the symbol for scissors.
- Something I found interesting about doing this taks is being able to understand the steps of coding.

Flowcharts and Dice
LI:To learn how to use flowcharts to plan coding
This week for coding at tech is about flowcharts and dice.Ive learnt alot aboout flowcharts and coding the past few weeks,and Ive been buliding my coding skills too.Something I found interesting about coding is learning to make a flowchart about the task we are focusing on.Something I learnt about coding this week is using my knowledge I already know about coding and it really helps me.

Being a Jedi in coding
LI:To code the robot backwards without toching it - to be a Jedi
My robot will wait until I have pressed the onboard button before it does anything.We used an "If -Then-Else"block, as this gives the robot two choices to do.We are using the ULTRASONIC SENSOR on the front of the robot and we need to sense if soemthing is 10cm in front of it.If soemthing is 10cm or LESS in front of the robot,Ut will move backwards.If soemthing is NOT less than 10cm in front of the robot,it will move forwards (Else). This is all put into a forever block so that the robot constantly senses what is in front of it.

Tech Reflection
Today our 1st session of Tech was at Tamaki college. The Year 7’s did robotics with Mrs Ferguson. Mrs Ferguson was showing us how to do coding,we moved on to the next step of coding.Our second session today was how to make noises on our mbot and how to change the colours .We had to fill this sheet out we it said our input and algorithms ,algorithms mean a process of setting rules,a example is like do not go without me giving you an algorithms(rules). Then Mrs Ferguson told everyone to sit around a table near the screen ,then Mrs ferguson showed us some slides with example of how to do the making noise.Then after Mrs Ferguson finished talking we made our way to our tables where our mbots are.Then I plugged my cable in my computer and then I put the other half of the cord into the mbot. Then I went on the site Mbot and then I used some codes to make the mbot make noise.
