Todays for Friday's assembly was different because it was also the  SLJ participants celebrations  I really enjoyed doing the activities that the SLJ team set for the senior students around the world . The challenge's that were set from Nano Girl really made my creativity better because it made me think and create the activity by using the creativity i knew that could make my design , DlO interesting to the viewers who viewed my SLJ's activity on my PBS blogger .  At today's SLJ's participants celebration Mrs Grant  and Miss Paleti presented prizes to the top 3 bloggers at today's assembly and the 3rd place was Te Raumati , 2nd place Chisa , 1st place was Sakshi . All PBS staff members , Students congratulate Sakshi for being the PBS top blogger ,top commenter and top blogger for manaiakalani . PBS has come 1st in the top blogging SLJ for 6 years in a row thanks to all the students who tried their best to keep their learning going throughout the summer holidays .

Tech Reflection

LI: To draw our design that we thought we would make .

Today for our second lesson at Tamaki College building with Mr Grundy was to draw a design we thought we would make out of the eight designs we had already drawn during the session . First we got a paper and a piece of wood and draw the joints where it would hold the design all together and the design i was doing is a chest of drawers where you can open and close the draw that is holding all the accessories you have , been wearing . Something i found interesting  about learning how to use a wood joint to make things that can make your accessories easier to grab and put back .

PB4L / How to behave on a bus

LI:Set a demonstration how to be on a bus .

Today we have done an activity about how to behave on a bus for our PB4L task . First, we thought of positive ways in our group of mixed and non mixed people and thought of things we might thought we could show how we would behave on the bus. We weren’t allowed to use no, don’t, never, and more because that’s not positive. After we wrote down how to behave on a bus we showed it by taking a video on how to behave and not behave on a bus. Something we found interesting about doing the DLO was collaborating with mixed people and here what they had about

PB4L / Demonstrate an example of leaving a room incase of an emergency .

LI:To demonstrate leaving a room and tell someone where you and how it will affect someone if there is and emergency .

Today we have done an activity on asking to go to the bathroom, drink, or office. First we thought of different ways why it’s important to let the teacher know they need to leave the room, who is affected if they do not follow the system, and how would you feel if something went wrong. After thinking of three different examples we started to write down the answer that we thought was the best. Something I found interesting during this activity was sharing what we thought was a good cybersmart to show younger children.
