LI: To create your own comic strip of an imaginary conversation .
My comic strip shows the conversation I imagine these two people had after one of the men had sneezed his teeth into the sea during a fishing trip. I found this activity interesting because i got to explore my own information of words and fill out my own words of comic strip book, Doing the comic strip activity was really interesting because i got to watch videos ad then come up with my own words that i thought could make my comic book abit cool interesting . Something i learnt about doing this activity was to be creative and make my own comic book .
Kia ora Lily,
ReplyDeleteI really liked reading your blog post today! I like how you have explained the story in your words as it makes it more hilarious! I think the best part of this activity was that we got a chance to portray the story.
When I read your comic, I can imagine the story in more detail. I liked how you have said "what you learnt new" as it makes the blurb detailed. I think the article and the video were quite different as the video didn't show the taxi driver and his wife. Do you think the same? I really liked completing this task. What did you find interesting while doing this activity?
Keep up the great work!

Hello Sakshi for commenting on my blog post ,Yes i found it difficult because they didn't show the taxi driver and his wife . Something i found interesting about the activity was being able to explore my own words to create a different kind of comic of the two men . What did you find interesting about the task and what didn't you like about it and explain why ?
ReplyDeleteThanks for Lily .
Hi Lily,
ReplyDeleteThank you for answering my question and replying to my comment. I really appreciate it! That was such a good answer. I agree, that really was interesting because we could write whatever we want. In this task I found interesting to match the article with the video and create a comic because we are trying to relate them making it challenging. I think I liked everything in this task and there wasn't anything specific I didn't like. My question for you is, do you think filling the template in the start was helpful? If yes, how and why?
I am looking forward for your reply!

ReplyDeleteBen here from the SLJ commenting team.
You’ve nailed this activity, ka rawe! I like the way that you’ve added details in the brackets so we can recognise their expressions more clearly.
It’s been nice looking through your other blog posts too. I see you have a strong voice to your writing. I’m looking forward to reading more :).
