Representing a inter school game
LI: To create a DLO representing an inter school game .
This year i have decided to join a inter school sport so i could represent PBS . This year playing inter school basketball was a success because while i was communicating with the rest of my basketball team i realise communicating more with different people and eachother can actually build a stronger team because were are communicating with each other and we collaborating with each other so we can build a stronger connection , team and bond . Something i found interesting was that playing and communicating with different people made me more comfortable about representing PBS and more confident to fit into a team of people in didn't know i could get along with .
Why plants are important to us ?
LI: Why plants are important to us , animals , environment ?.
Today for our last session at tech we learnt about why plants are important to us , animals and our environment. Mrs Sharma let three groups four to go and get at least 10 different leaves each and then write a table and we have to write the number of the leaves we have the size the texture , colour and the pattern the was on the leaves , The group i was with were Afatia, Liletina , Tanisha and me were we getting exasperate because we kept on getting the same leave and not knowing until we check again . Something i found interesting was learning more about plants and why they are important to our environment.

Te Whanau Raukura Performance
LI: To understand the elements behind maori culture .
Today After morning tea Te Whanau Raukura Performed the Auckland Museum and then show Panmure Bridge School their items they have performed and told us three elements that they had bought along ( Poi, Te rakau , Taiaha ) telling how to use them ,The story behind maori culture . Something i found interesting about the performance was being able to hear the three elements story behind maori culture and seeing them perform to us what they have learnt and seeing Bekah do four pois and creating the bird behind the 2 dollar coin . After the performance Bekah from Te Whanau Raukura came into LS2 and played Pukana , Pukana is a game played in maori culture and many others but the rules of how to play Pukana is to make sure whoever starts the game has to be heard and when you say Pukana you always have to Pukana because the game is called Pukana . Something i found interesting was being able to hear other people from other cultures enjoying playing Pukana and respecting maori culture , we are all thankful for Te Whanau Raukura for performing at Panmure Bridge School and telling us the story behind maori culture .
