Cybersmart / helping others
LI : To create a Screencastify which will help others find a class blog .
The above screencastify is created by Liletina, Afatia, Sakshi and me under the topic of cybersmart. The reason we created this video is to guide the students or parents who are new to our school and do not know how to access something. We first chose the topic of our video which is to reach to a class blog. We first created our script on a piece of paper and then decided the dialogues each person will say. Once we were ready we created the screencastify from my chromebook. We made a couple of mistakes at first but we then got the confidence from trying it again and again. I liked that we could showcase our learning through a video and it could be helpful.

Dance class # 1
Today for PE LS2 did dancing with Miss Rebecca and the topic for Dance is expressive , me and my body ,movement, creatively, and their is no wrong or right way to do dance . We had to be creative in a group of two or more to make shapes with our bodies and the simple instructions was to listen to what Miss Rebecca said and be creative with each other and always take part wither you don't want to do it , it is always OK to be a part of team and collaborate . We had a game of freeze to the music and Miss Rebecca would give us three positions Snake , Stick, Star to do a stick position you have to put your arms by your side and legs together , Star position is when you do a star jump but freeze and the snake position is when you go on the floor and legs curve and and put your hands together and curve it . Before we started to dance we had some warm ups to warm our heart up from beating slow to fast and to make us more fitted .

He realised that he may have taken his anger temper to the point he hurt someone or could of hurt someone feelings . There was a video of Chloe talking about drugs and why people do it people smoke drink it helps them take away the stress and calm them down . Nichole told us that vaping is just hot water stream like from a boiling jug and it has cleaning materials , We learnt about our different types of part of our bodies and it works . What is Science?
L.I To summarise the information.
L.I: to find the most vital ideas from the information to help us answer the question what is science.
L.I: to find the most vital ideas from the information to help us answer the question what is science.
This week for reading we have been learning about what science is. We started off with writing down what we already knew about science on sticky notes, then we watched a video to find out more. While watching the video we used the sticky notes to make notes. The video explains the areas of science, the difference between basic science and applied science. One thing we found really interesting was that you use chemistry, physics, and biology when you make a lime juice from fresh limes.
We negotiated and shared ideas to create a summary, we used the sticky notes to create sentences for the summary. Our group worked collaboratively to get these activities completed. We enjoyed doing this activity as we were able to practise negotiating and taking time to respect everybody's ideas. We have summarised our learning below.
Questions we want to ask:
Science is about getting knowledge from asking questions . It is divided into 3 areas: Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Science is both basic and applied, basic science using what you know. Science is either beneficial or harmful depending on how you view and use it.
Questions we want to ask:
- Where can science be used?
- Why is science important to our world ?
- When do scientists ask questions?
