Find different strategies/ maths
This week our group practised finding the answer to written maths questions. To do this we needed to first find the numbers we were working with. We decided the most efficient strategy was to use our times table knowledge. Being able to find how many groups of a number made this strategy efficient.

Cityscape of Paris
On the left side of my cityscape of Paris you will see the Eiffel Tower standing tall in a dark colour. I blended cool colours together with chalk pastels to make the sky look like sunset in purple and green. On the top of the Eiffel tower you'll see a light purple sky background, on the bottom of my cityscape I have chosen to make the reflection light green. The Eiffel tower took two years to be built again, two months and 5 days was remarkably a short amount of time. It took 7,000 metric tons of puddling iron. Not many people know there are 1665 steps in total in the Eiffel Tower. It would take about 30 to 45 minutes to climb the stairs to the second floor. Did you know the Eiffel Tower was built by a strong hard working man called Alexandre Gustave and the reason he built the Eiffel Tower was because it was a world’s fair. Alexandre Gustave opened the Eiffel tower to the public in 1889. While I was blending my cool colours in, I noticed I was pressing too hard with the purple and I was accidentally scraping the chalk so I added more colour to even out the areas with a piece of cotton wool . I used white chalk pastels to lighten the tone into a dark background. Did you know on top of the Eiffel on the third floor you'll see all the buildings and a nice view but it will cost 25,90 for an adult and kids to 12-24 is 13,00 , children to 4-11 is 6,50 and kids under four is free by using the lift.
